Bid TIK Polda Kepri Padang. In celebrating the 75th anniversary of Bhayangkara and the Medical and Health Unit of Indonesia National Police in 2021, the West Sumatra Regional Police organized free Covid-19 vaccination for the community, Saturday (06/19).

The implementation of the vaccine was conducted in two locations, at the Badminton Court of West Sumatra Regional Police (next to Wisma Kemala/Korem 032 Wirabraja), and at Imam Bonjol field, Padang.

Chief of West Sumatra Regional Police, Police Inspector General Toni Harmanto, along with High Rank Officials of West Sumatra Regional Police participated in monitoring the implementation of Covid-19 vaccination for public.

“This is our effort to reduce the spread of Covid-19. We provide free vaccine services for the community,” the Chief of West Sumatra Regional Police explained.

The Chief of West Sumatera Regional Police said the Covid-19 vaccination was part of Bhayangkara Anniversary, as well as to increase partnership between Police and community so it could be well maintained.

The Chief of West Sumatra Regional Police added, besides carried out by West Sumatera Regional Police, the implementation of Covid-19 vaccination will also be carried out by Resort Police, together with Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and local government.

For today, 683 people were vaccinated, with the details of 359 people at Imam Bonjol Padang field, and 324 people at the West Sumatra Regional Police Badminton Court.
