In his statement, the Central Kalimantan Regional Police Chief explained that in the vaccination process, 1.79 people were targeted to receive the Covid-19 vaccine. “In this vaccination, we are also targeting 1,790 people, especially the elderly, to receive vaccines to reduce the spread of covid-19 in Katingan Regency,” said the Head of the Central Kalimantan Police.
In addition, during the visit the Central Kalimantan Police Chief also provided mask assistance to the Indonesian Ar, Polri, and health workers who were in charge of the vaccination and fruits to the community.
On the other hand, Head of Medical and Health Section Central Kalimantan Regional Police also appealed to the public to take part in vaccinations considering that the covid-19 vaccine is safe and halal. “We urge the public not to be afraid of being vaccinated and to come to participate in vaccinations because vaccination is safe and lawful,” said the Head of Medical and Health Section.
