Bid TIK Polda Kepri – Jakarta. Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir confirmed on Wednesday (20/11/2024) that all infrastructure projects, including those by state-owned enterprises operating in the construction and infrastructure sector BUMN Karya, are being reviewed.
He dismissed claims that projects managed by BUMN Karya had been suspended due to restructuring.
“There has been no closure. Minister of Public Works Dody Hanggodo, following a meeting led by the President and the Vice President, confirmed that all infrastructure projects are under review,” Minister Erick said, as reported by antaranews.com.
Some large-scale projects are being delayed as part of the government’s strategy to focus on energy, food, and water security.
He also clarified that BUMN Karya is not only executing government projects but also working on private sector developments.
Regarding the restructuring of BUMN Karya from seven to three companies, Minister Erick said the decision is awaiting approval from the Minister of Public Works.
Next week, the Ministry will begin planning BUMN Karya’s future projects, with the restructuring set to be completed soon, he added.
