Bid TIK Polda Kepri/”>Bid TIK Polda Kepri – Palu. Seven detainees have escaped from the Parigi Moutong Sub-regional Police headquarters in Central Sulawesi, prompting local authorities to urge the fugitives to surrender.
“Yes, seven detainees escaped, and we are searching for them,” said First Inspector Sumarlin, the Parigi Moutong Police Head of Public Relations, on Friday (31/1/2025).
Authorities have launched an operation to locate the escapees, with one detainee already found. They also appealed to journalists and the public to report any information regarding the fugitives’ whereabouts, according to antaranews.com.
The escape occurred early on at around 5 am local time on Friday. The detainees have been identified as Fandi, Sopian, Caling, Alan, Moh Guntur, Moh Trisno, and Waldi.
“We are committed to finding them using all available resources,” Chief Sumarlin added, without providing further details about the escape.
