The suspects, from Russia, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan, allegedly kidnapped and robbed cryptocurrency assets worth Rp 3.4 billion on 15 December 2024, while wearing black clothing and “Police” vests.
Chief Ariasandy also confirmed that authorities are investigating the use of firearms and sharp weapons by the suspects, as well as the vehicles used during the crime.
The police are gathering evidence and chasing the remaining eight suspects. “
