tribratanews.polri.go.id – The Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) of the Indonesian National Police (Polri) will oversee the availability and supply of fuel during the month of Ramadan. This was explained by the Head of the Public Information Section (Kabag Penum) of the Public Relations Division (Divisi Humas) of the Indonesian National Police (Polri), Commissioner Gatot Repli Handoko, S.I.K. He also explained that the supervision would be carried out by the ranks of the regional police and departmental police in 34 provinces of Indonesia.
“The head of Bareskrim has given orders to the Directorate Special Crimes (Dirkrimsus) personnel to immediately oversee the fuel distribution in their respective areas,” he explained, Tuesday (5/4/2022).
He also said that the monitoring would be conducted for 24 hours to anticipate the practice of hoarding.
“We want to ensure the stock and distribution in the area is safe, and the goal is to act on certain criminal acts to help avoid any hoarding. Thus we will be monitoring the activity for 24 hours, during the month of Ramadan,” he concluded.
