Bid TIK Polda Kepri – Bima. The Drug Criminal Investigation Unit of Bima Sub-regional Police have successfully secured two drug couriers in Kore Village, Bima Regency on Thursday (1/9/2025).
“We have arrested them on last Thursday and we identified the two couriers as SL (36) and a woman with the initials of NK (24),” says Head of the Drug Criminal Investigation Unit, First Police Inspector Fardiansyah on Friday (1/10/2025).
Fadiansyah reveals that his party confiscates a total of 50 meth packages with the weight of 13.70 grams and a cash of money of IDR 6,575,000, two handphone units, and drug packaging tools.
Evidence was found in SL’s house, which was the location of the drug trafficking operation.
“We are able to uncover this case thanks to the public report from Kore Village. They were complaining about the suspicious activities of drug activities in the neighborhood. As we received the information, we immediately came to the location and raid the house,” says Fardiansyah.
In the initial interrogation, SL admitted that he bought the crystal meth from a supplier with the initials MG for IDR 6 million. The illicit goods were sent using a bus with the alibi of sending vegetables from Lombok to Dompu. SL also revealed that the crystal meth was planned to be sold that day.
Meanwhile, the Head of West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police Public Relations, Senior Superintendent Mohammad Kholid emphasized that this case shows the commitment of police in eradicating drug flows.
“We are fully committed to eradicate drug flows in the province. The information from the public have greatly helped us in uncovering various drug networks,” says Kholid.
Kholid also said that the two perpetrators and evidence have been secured at the Bima Sub-regional Police for further legal proceedings. SL and NK were charged with articles in Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics, with the threat of severe punishment.
