Bid TIK Polda Kepri/”>Bid TIK Polda Kepri – Tangerang. Tangerang City Sub-regional Police has officially named Ajat Supriatna (32) as a suspect in the fatal shooting and vehicle embezzlement case at Rest Area KM 45 on the Tangerang-Merak Toll Road.
“Ajat Supriatna has been declared a suspect for his involvement in the embezzlement of the victim’s vehicle,” said Tangerang Police Public Relations Officer Second Inspector Purbawa on Saturday (4/1/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
Ajat rented the vehicle from the victim, a car rental business owner, who was fatally shot during the incident. Another individual, identified as “I,” has also been arrested for allegedly assisting in the embezzlement scheme.
“We have detained four suspects, including Ajat and ‘I,’ along with two suspects who are military personnel under investigation by Puspomal,” Officer Purbawa added, as quoted by antaranews,com, referring to the Naval Military Police.
The shooting occurred on Thursday at Rest Area KM 45, leaving victim IAR, the car rental owner, dead and RAB suffering from injuries after being shot.
On Friday , police arrested Ajat and “I” in Pandeglang, Banten. Meanwhile, the military personnel allegedly involved were taken into custody by Puspomal for further investigation.
