Bogor City Sub-regional Police arrested an Instagram influencer with the initials of S who was a Brand Ambassador of an online gambling site. According to the evidence gathered by investigators, S had promoted an online gambling site called Kerang Slot.
“The influencer with the initials of S (19) was from Bogor City. She has an Instagram username of @ccacyna_ and it has a follower of 59,000 and used it to promote online gambling site,” says Bogor City Sub-regional Police Chief, Senior Superintendent Bismo Teguh Prakoso on Monday (10/21/2024).
According to him, the suspect was arrested on Thursday (10/3/2024) at 15.00 pm in Kedung Jaya, Tanah Sareal, Bogor City.
He explains that S has received a payment of IDR 2,150,000 for promoting the online gambling site two times a day for two months. The money she received is used for her daily needs.
“On April 2nd, 2024, S was offered by HOMIES21_ through Instagram DM to promote online gambling sites in Instagram and S accepted the offer three times,” says Bismo.
For her crimes, S is charged with Article 45 (3) of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 1 of 2024 concerning the second amendment to the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions (ITE) with a maximum prison sentence of 10 years and a fine of IDR 10,000,000,000.
