PBSI Launches “Sport Science Analytics” Platform

Bid TIK Polda Kepri/”>Bid TIK Polda Kepri – Jakarta. The Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) has introduced the PBSI Sport Science Analytics platform to enhance athlete performance through data-driven approaches and sports science.

PBSI Chairman Muhammad Fadil Imran explained on Monday (13/1/2025) that this web-based platform serves as a database for athlete conditions, health and injury records, fitness assessments, and recommendations for intervention and development programs from support teams, including medical, psiotherapy, and nutrition specialists.

Key features include integrated data input, logbooks for various fields, and athlete performance comparisons.

“This is a pioneering platform, not yet perfect, and it will be continually developed to build a comprehensive sports science ecosystem,” he said Fadil at the launch event held at the PBSI National Training Center in Cipayung, Jakarta, as reported by antaranews.com.

In its next phase, the platform will integrate data for coaches, medical teams, and nutritionists, enabling better tracking of interventions and their impacts on athlete performance.

The launch coincided with initial athlete assessments, covering medical profiles, anthropometry, nutrition, fitness, biomotor components, and injury screenings. Future plans include psychological screening and AI-based technical error analysis for performance optimization.
