Bid TIK Polda Kepri – Jakarta. North Sulawesi Regional Police will dispatch personnel to back up the emergency response of the Ruang Mountain eruption. Currently the emergency status level is on Cautious.
“Yes, the regional police chief has ordered the Head Ops Bureau to prepare personnel,” said the North Sulawesi Regional Police PR Chief, Senior Superintendent Michael Thamsil in his text message on Tuesday (4/30/2024).
He says that several personnel already in the location are personnel from Sitaro Sub-regional Police.
On the other hand, Michael is aware that the access towards Ruang Mountain inside the island region is difficult. Therefore, Michael states that his party will scout and assess the situation first before deploying the personnel.
