Bid TIK Polda Kepri The North Maluku Regional Police conducted mass Covid-19 vaccination for the people of Ternate City. This vaccination was conducted at the Ternate Police Headquarter Hall, Wednesday (6/9).

The vaccination was conducted in order to welcome the 75th Bhayangkara Day which falls on July 1. The activity was directly monitored by the Chief of North Maluku Regional Police, Police Inspector General Risyapuddin Nursin.

The monitoring was conducted as way to ensure the implementation of vaccination ran smoothly so the community could get benefit of the activity.

The Head of Public Affairs of the North Maluku Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Adip Rojikan said to the reporters the activity was implemented in order to support the Government’s policy, that is the national Covid-19 vaccination for all Indonesian people.

“Besides supporting government policy, the activity was carried out in order to welcome the 75th Bhayangkara Day and it is the manifestation of police service to the community,” he explained.

The Head of Public Affairs of the North Maluku Regional Police said participants need to be screened first before getting the vaccine to ensure the participants’ health condition.

“Today, 93 participants were vaccinated, consisting of 21 senior people, 58 public servants, 8 traders, 1 health worker, 2 detainees, 1 police member and 2 Bhayangkari. All of them were vaccinated using the Sinovac Vaccine,” he explained.
