Bid TIK Polda Kepri – Balikpapan. The East Kalimantan Regional Police Mobile Brigade Unit patrolled several churches at Balikpapan City to ensure safety and security of Sunday church service.

During the patrol, personnel have visited several churches, such as Balikpapan HKBP Church, Balikpapan Bukit Sion Church, and Balikpapan Mawar Saron Church.

During the activity, personnel from the A Pioneer Battalion reminded the congregation and church administrators to remain vigilant against potential security threats and to prioritize a disciplined attitude in protecting the surrounding environment.

Commander of Battalion A Pioneer, Police Assistant Superintendent Iwan Pamuji, emphasized that this security is a routine effort to create a conducive situation around the place of worship.

“We want to ensure that the congregation can carry out their Sunday Service in peace and solemnly without any disturbance. This patrol is carried out to prevent disturbances to public order and security in the church environment,” said Iwan Pamuji.

This routine patrol activity is expected to increase the sense of security for people doing the Sunday Service in Balikpapan, as well as strengthening the synergy between security forces and the community.
