Jakarta Military Court Receives Shooting Case Involving Navy Personnel

Bid TIK Polda Kepri/”>Bid TIK Polda Kepri – Jakarta. The Jakarta Military Court has received the case of the fatal shooting of a car rental business owner, involving three members of the Indonesian Navy from the Jakarta Military Prosecutor’s Office on Friday (31/1/2025).

Military Court Spokesperson Major Arin Fauzan confirmed the case, which involved the three suspects, identified as AA, RH, and KLK.

“The case has been registered and will now be reviewed by the court clerks,” she said during a press briefing, as quoted by antaranews.com.

The court is expected to take about a week to review the case before scheduling a trial. Once the case is deemed complete, a panel of judges will be appointed, and public hearings will begin.

The fatal shooting incident occurred on 2 January 2025 at the KM45 rest area on the Tangerang-Merak toll road in Banten, leaving one person dead and another injured. The suspects were arrested by military police shortly after the incident.
