Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani announced on Tuesday (10/12/2024) that the 2025 State Budget (APBN) will total Rp 2,701.4 trillion, with significant allocations for national development priorities such as food and energy self-sufficiency, free nutritious meals, and enhanced social protection programs.

Speaking after the handover of the 2025 budget implementation list (DIPA) and regional transfer allocations (TKD) at the Presidential Palace, she emphasized that central government spending would focus on vital areas, including food security, education, health, and social protection, according to antaranews.com.

Of the total budget, Rp 724.3 trillion will be allocated for education, the largest share, while Rp 218.5 trillion will go towards health, and Rp 503.2 trillion for social protection. Food security will receive Rp 144.6 trillion, with an additional Rp 71 trillion earmarked for the nutritious meals program aimed at boosting regional economies, particularly in rural areas.

Regional transfers will reach Rp 919.9 trillion, ensuring alignment between central and regional budgets to foster equitable development. 

National revenue is targeted at Rp 3,005.1 trillion, driven by tax reforms.
