Bid TIK Polda Kepri Several efforts continue to be made by the Indonesian National Police in assisting the Government of Indonesia in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia. One of them is to help distribute social assistance intended for people affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

As stated by the National Police Chief, Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, emphasized that there should be no problems related to the distribution of the social assistance. “So I don’t want any information in the public that conveys that in one area there are still problems with social assistance,” said the Indonesian National Police Chief during the release of social assistance distribution by NCO Police personnel in Sidoarjo, East Java, Saturday (17/7/2021).

“Therefore, today following up on our President’s order from the Indonesian National Police, we have reduced social assistance by approximately 2,500 tons sack of rice and 70 thousand packages of basic necessities. This is part of the Indonesian President’s program to reduce social assistance in all affected areas,” continued the Indonesian National Police Chief.

In his statement, the Indonesian National Police Chief emphasized that the social assistance must be distributed immediately. If the stock runs out later, the Indonesian National Police Chief said to immediately report and coordinate to get a shipment for additional stock from the relevant ministry.
