Deputy Minister Arrmanatha expected Brazil’s support in inviting ASEAN to the G20 Summit in South Africa. Minister Vieira, in response, expressed optimism that President Prabowo Subianto would attend the BRICS Summit in Rio de Janeiro in July this year.

They also discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation, particularly in food security, and agreed to accelerate negotiations on the Indonesia-Mercosur Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IM-CEPA).
