Their visit was aimed to give instruction and motivation to all armed forces and police personnel who have been fighting and chasing the terrorist group of Mujahidin Indonesia Timur, lead by Ali Kalora.
Chief of National Police in instruction reaffirmed that the country could not lose to and there is no place for the terrorist group in Indonesia. “The country cannot lose to the terrorist group. No more place for the terrorist group”, the Chief of National Police said.
“Optimise every role of task unit. Intensify the solidity and synergy between each task force unit and eradicate sectoral ego of each task force unit”, Chief of National Police said.
Besides, the Chief of National Police also said to all personnel on duty to keep coordinating and communicating if experiencing certain obstacles in the field so that this Madago Raya Task Force reached its aim: creating a maximum safe and conducive public security and order situation.
Madago Raya Operation is entering the second stage, conducted from April 1 to June 30. The joint personnel from armed forces and police deployed during this operation is 808 personnel.
