Defence Ministry Secretary General Lieutenant General Tri Budi Utomo underscored on Saturday (1/3/2025) the reserve force’s role in strengthening national security, emphasizing their duty to safeguard sovereignty in an era of evolving threats.
“Every reserve member embodies national resilience, prepared to serve with unwavering commitment,” he said, delivering Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin’s official address.
Tri stressed that modern security challenges extend beyond conventional warfare, including cyber threats, economic disruptions, and information warfare, requiring heightened preparedness.
“As a nation with a deep history of resilience, we must uphold our legacy by fortifying national defense,” he said, as quoted by antaranews.com.
The official commissioning introduced 287 personnel from the Ministry of Defense and 500 from the Indonesian Ar.
