The insulation checkpoint was established to support the Emergency PPKM enforcement in the borders of Central Java.
Police have established insulation checkpoints at the border areas. The inspection targets several four-wheeled vehicles registered outside Central Java that enter the province from Yogyakarta.
During the insulation, joint forces check the vehicle’s licenses and availability of antigen/PCR test result statement.
“This insulation is to provide information and educate people that Emergency PPKM has begun, and remind travelling people must be vaccinated and bring the negative Covid19 test result. Otherwise, they will be turned around. This action is hoped to give some vibrating effect, so they adhere to Health Protocols”, Chief of Central Java Regional Police said.
Police Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi said that Central Java Regional Police has actively participated in accelerating Covid-19 vaccination in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic. So far, Central Java Regional Police has 325 Covid-19 vaccination booths.
“(The booths are) spread across 110 locations. We keep increasing our targets”, the two-star general concludes.
