The Jambi Regional Police Chief, in his speech, said that the task of the National Police as law enforcement officers and protectors, protectors and public servants requires extra effort and performance. Of course, based on domestic and global conditions in the face of multi-sectoral crises in the current world pandemic era. So that the National Police who have strong credibility and structure must become a buffer and a driving force in re-stabilizing the condition of the State.
One of the concepts of effective and efficient work management, which was developed by the Division of Profession and Internal Security and the Directorate of Intelligence and Security at the Jambi Police in providing services to the community, is through the “SIPPINTER” application (Integrated Investigation Supervision System) and the Online Police Certificate application.
“What has been done and achieved by colleagues from Division of Profession and Internal Security and Directorate of Intelligence And Security of the Jambi Regional Police today has shown an innovative and solution-based effort in making positive contributions to institutions and society in particular,” explained the Regional Police Chief.
The regional Police Chief explained that the “SIPPINTER” application, which was initiated by the Head of the Jambi Regional Police’s Division of Profession and Internal Security, as the Project Leader of this Change project, has implemented the application of leadership education through activities to integrate supervision of the Police investigation process to prevent abuse of authority in increasing public trust.
“We know that there is synergy and collaboration between the existing internal supervisory functions, namely Division of Profession and Internal Security, Itwasda and Bagwassidik, in carrying out supervision through communication and coordination. Later, it is hoped that this will be useful in realizing an accountable and professional police investigation,” the Jambi Regional Police Chief hoped.
“Meanwhile, the Online Police Certificate application, which was initiated by the Jambi Regional Police’s Directorate of Intelligence and Security, has also implemented the expectations of the National Police Chief’s priority program. “This is a form of improving the quality of public services that are easier and more efficient. So that the existence of Police Certificate as one of the administrations that are widely used in various activities of the wider community will no longer be a scourge and an image associated with complicated bureaucracy and collusion practices in the police service environment,” concluded the Regional Police Chief.
Before ending his remarks, the Jambi Regional Police Chief advised all members to maintain and always keep the spirit of unit building by increasing public service innovation to make it easier for us to serve the community.
In addition, build massive communication and cooperation with various parties to create a good emotional relationship to create a competitive, productive work situation. Finally, continue to maintain professionalism in law enforcement and public services so that the image of the police can increase in gaining public trust.
“Hopefully, with the launching of this application, it can be a means to trigger an increase in the quality of the Jambi Regional Police’s performance and ranks in dealing with future situations,” concluded the Regional Police Chief.
