Besides those two sites, the vaccination was previously held by East Java Regional Leader Communication Forum, in collaboration with the Bangkalan Regency Regional Leader Communication Forum in several Islamic Boarding Schools such as Pademangan Timur, Syaikhona Kholil, and Nurul Kholil and four red zone districts in Bangkalan.

Meanwhile, the Commander of the Armed Forces and Chief of National Police, during their visitation in Gelora Bangkalan Stadium, talked with the Islamic school students as the vaccination participant.

“We are happy with your presence. We feel the presence of the government here”, Muhammad Wahyu said when asked by the Commander of Armed Forces after vaccinated.

Besides Wahyu, Faris Al Farizi, resident of Bangkalan, also managed to talk with the Commander of Armed Forces. Fariz said that the vaccination event is beneficial for the people. Faris also complained about the significant impact of Covid-19 on his region.

“We were crying because of this extraordinary situation, which completely affected our aspects of life such as life, religion, job, and education”, Faris complained.

“So with the presence of government, we felt realy helped, and we really thank you. We hope that events like this can be continually held. That is all I can say. Thank you, thank you”, Faris said to the Commander of Armed Forces.

Commander of Armed Forces, Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto, said to Faris and all attendees that several districts were included as red zone: Klampis, Geger, and Bangkalan.

“If PPKM Mikro (Micro-scaled Public Activity Limitation Enforcement) to be imposed to suppress Covid-19 transmission, what do you think?” the Commander of Armed Forces asked Faris.

Faris answered with “It would be good, sir. It would be very effective because that what we must do, and the government has been educating us since the beginning of the pandemic”, Faris answered.

“Moreover, we are not the expert, so we are following the situation through media. According to the media, new variants are emerging, which I heard is very dangerous, so it is important to suppress the Covid-19 transmission. Therefore, this is the beginning step to get out of this pandemic”, Faris said to the Commander of Armed Forces.

Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto thanked him because, started tomorrow, Armed Forces and Police would assist Village, or District heads during the enforcement of PPKM Mikro.

“So our task is to suppress Covid-19 transmission by tracing close contacts and conducting self-isolating or centralised isolating for every day in the next two weeks”, Commander of Armed Forces said in front of Bangkalan residents.

Commander of the Armed Forces explained the task so that the regent can gather data such as positive/active cases, recovered numbers, and suppressing death statistics.

“So we can fully suppress Covid-19 that way. And we keep doing vaccination nationally”, he explained.

“I hope that school activities can be smoothly run without the fear of Covid-19. God’s willing, with our prayers and government’s efforts, vaccination can be conducted, and PPKM Mikro can be enforced properly to suppress Covid-19 transmission”, Commander of Armed Forces concluded his statement during his visitation in Bangkalan.
