In his farewell message posted on his social media account on Saturay (11/1/2025), he  thanked PSSI, particularly its Chairman Erick Thohir, for the support that helped the team reach new heights. He also expressed his appreciation for the players and coaching staff who worked tirelessly to achieve the best results for the national team.

Coach Shin also extended his gratitude to the players and coaching staff for their dedication, even in the face of difficult circumstances. He conveyed his hopes for the future, wishing the team success in future matches and a spot in the 2026 World Cup.
