Bid TIK Polda Kepri/”>Bid TIK Polda Kepri – Denpasar. Bali’s administration is aiming for 6.5 million foreign tourist arrivals in 2025.
Tjok Bagus Pemayun, the Head of Bali’s Tourism Agency, explained on Tuesday (21/1/2025) that the target range for foreign visitors is between 6 million and 6.5 million, while the domestic tourism target is set at 10 to 10.5 million.
The goal is seen as achievable, given that around 6.3 million foreign tourists visited Bali in 2024. While the province did not meet the initial tourism target for 2024, there was an influx of tourists arriving through domestic routes like Gilimanuk Harbor.
However, challenges remain, including traffic congestion, waste management, and land-use issues, according to antaranews.com.
Pemayun emphasized the need for stronger regulations and collaboration with tourism stakeholders to address these concerns and ensure sustainable growth.
