The distribution was conducted during their visitation on mass vaccination event at Solo City Hall on Saturday (17/7/2021). The Emergency PPKM aids will target people whose economic sector was affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

“The government also thought about affected people due to the Emergency PPKM. Therefore, today we will distribute 30,000 basic necessities packages and 147 tons of rice that our colleagues in Armed Forces-Police will distribute”, Sigit said when he inaugurates the distribution.

The four-star general hopes that this social care package distribution could reduce people’s burden on fulfilling daily needs.

“I hope this could help the public due to the mobility restriction”, the former Chief of Banten Regional Police said.

Meanwhile, mass vaccination event held at Solo City Hall has materialised thanks to inter-parties collaboration such as Surakarta city government, Armed Forces, Police, and Shopee. This event is themed “Struggling Together Fighting Against Covid-19”. The vaccination target is 1,000 people who have been previously registering.

Sigit appreciates and thanks the Solo people enthusiasm to get vaccinated. With the high interest from the public, according to Sigit, the herd immunity target could be achieved soon.

“Thank you for the Solo people’s enthusiasm in this vaccination event so that this vaccination acceleration could be materialised. Therefore, for the general public, volunteers, activists, or students who have the ability to become a vaccinator or strengthening vaccination events are welcomed to join us”, the former Chief of Criminal Investigation Agency of the National Police said.

On the other side, Sigit believes that with the cooperation of all walks of life, the Coronavirus transmission rate could be reduced. “I hope that we can together reduce Covid cases growth by restricting public mobility. Therefore, let us together in synergy to push back this Covid growth”, Sigit concludes.
