Bid TIK Polda Kepri – Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) announced ethical sanctions for two members with the initials Brigadier FRS and SM for alleged extortion at DWP.
Head of INP Public Information Bureau, Senior Superintendent Erdi Ardi Chaniago explains that member with the initials of FRS is sentenced with five years demotion and special placement for 30 days, starting from December 27th, 2024 to January 25th, 2025. Violators are also required to verbally apologize in court and in writing to the Police leadership.
“For the act, FRS stated an appeal,” said Kombes. Pol. Erdi in a press conference at the National Police Headquarters, South Jakarta, Friday (3/1/25).
Furthermore, Erdi explained, SM is also required to apologize verbally in court and in writing to the INP leadership. He must also undergo special punishment at the same time as Brigadier FRS.
“Then, the mutation is a demotion for eight years outside the law enforcement function. SM stated an appeal against the decision,” said Erdi.
