Bid TIK Polda Kepri – Mataram. The Criminal Investigation Unit of Mataram Sub-regional City Police is rescheduling the examination of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Head of Education and Culture, Aidy Furqan.
Aidy is examined following the allegation of extortion on the development of Mataram 3 Vocational School which has caught his subordinate, AM as the Head of Vocational School Division.
“Yes, we have sent the second summoning letter to Aidy Furqon to be examined on 13th January,” says Head of Mataram Sub-regional City Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Police Senior Inspector Regi Halili on Sunday (1/12/2025).
Regi said that Aidy had ignored the first summoning on January 6th with the alibi of his tight schedule in accompanying the acting Governor of NTB.
In this case, the Police have named AM, as the Head of Vocational School Division.
as a suspect in the alleged extortion perpetrator, who was caught in a sting operation (OTT), last Wednesday (12/11), in his office.
AM was arrested shortly after receiving IDR 50 million from a building materials supplier for the construction of toilets, laboratory rooms and new classrooms (RKB) of Mataram 3 Vocational School. The project’s funding source is from the 2024 special allocation fund (DAK) of Rp 1.3 billion.
The suspect is suspected of extorting the supplier, by asking for a fee of 5 to 10 percent.
For this reason, the suspect will be charged with Article 12 letter e subsidiary Article 11 of Law Number 31 of 1999, Article 11 of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning the eradication of criminal acts of corruption as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999.
