A 14-year-old boy, identified as MAS, stabbed his father, identifiedas as 40-year-old APW, and grandmother, identified as RM (69) to death and severely injured his mother (AP, 40) in their home at the Bona Indah Housing Complex, Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta, early Saturday (30/11/2024).
“Victims and APW were pronounced died, while victim AP sustained serious injuries,” said Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police Head of Public Relations Senior Superintendent Ade Ary Syam Indradi, as quoted by antaranews.com.
Security personnel in the complex reported seeing suspect MAS leaving the scene.
“He was walking briskly but ran when called out,” said the guard, who, along with colleagues, later detained MAS.
The suspect was found with blood-stained hands and clothing.
Cilandak Police Office Chief Senior Inspector Febriman Sarlase added, “The mother is currently being treated at Fatmawati Hospital for her injuries.”
The police are investigating the incident and questioning the suspect to uncover the motive.
